The DeMarini CF3 Fastpitch was actually designed after the original Phenix bat, but has a carbon material that is 22% stronger than competitors materials. The Pitch Black composite contains double re-enforced vertical and horizontal fibers to increase durability. This bat has been designed for elite college, high school, and youth ball players. A carbon reinforced vibration reduction system is combined with a stacked composite barrel, resulting in maximum end-to-end power.

In order to maximize the performance of the CF3 Black, DeMarini has found a way to harness the energy with an extended stacked composite barrel. The barrel acts with the clutch end cap and knob to deliver the utmost in energy transfer to the ball. This system redistributes swing weight for optimal balance and bat speed.
