The 2012 DeMarini Voodoo was designed to exceed your wildest expectations. The Voodoo's design begins at the handle where DeMarini has introduced a new composite material this season called TR3 TreiStrut Composite. With TR3, DeMarini replicates the triangular structure of a crystal, as that is what makes crystals one of the toughest and most stable compounds on earth. TR3 Composite is strong, stable, and predictable - without adding any unnecessary weight. This new handle is designed to efficiently transfer power from your hands to the barrel giving players balance and consistency with every swing.
The barrel of the Voodoo is constructed with DeMarini's proprietary SC4 Alloy. This alloy provides a thickness tuned wall that extends the entire length of the barrel, creating an extremely hot and insanely durable sweetspot. The senior youth Voodoo also features Half & Half Technology which redistributes swing weight to give the bat optimal balance. This is extremely beneficial to players that are still developing the perfect swing, as it gives them the ability to swing faster with less effort.
The 2012 Voodoo bat also include the The DeMarini Rotation Index, which helps players significantly prolong the life of their bat. The index provides players with a numerical index on the handle and barrel reminding player to incrementally rotate the bat after each hit.
