2012 DeMarini Versus Adult Baseball Bat - BBCOR Approved
The 2012 Versus is DeMarini's latest baseball bat designed specifically to meet BBCOR regulations. It features a more responsive SC4 Alloy Barrel, and an SC4 Alloy Handle. The Metal on Metal combination results in a durable and powerful sweet spot, that can stand up to blow after blow. The new External Geo End Cap reduces impact vibration and transfers energy back to the barrel, resulting in a more powerful hit.
The Versus BBCOR bat has a uniquely shaped barrel, specifically designed to give it the ultimate allowable performance while still meeting BBCOR regulations. This design actually makes the barrel longer and increases the size of the bat's sweet spot. Adding to this bat's unique design is a two-piece aluminum alloy combination, made from DeMarini's exclusive SC4.
The SC4 Alloy barrel and handle are thickness-tuned so that 100% of the player's energy from their swing is transferred to the ball with maximum force and feedback. This is a truly a BBCOR bat unlike anything else currently on the market, its power and feel must be experienced to be believed.
As an added feature this bat includes the DeMarini Rotation Index, which helps you to evenly break-in your bat by rotating it a quarter of a rotation each plate appearance.
