The 2009 Voodoo bat has combined DeMarini's most advanced composite
handle with their most advanced aluminum barrel. The Half & Half system
redistributes swing weight for optimal balance, allowing ball players to
swing faster with less effort. The new Pitch Black Composite Handle is
22% stronger than competitors materials. And combined with the new, 12%
stronger, SC-4 alloy, the DeMarini Voodoo has greater durability and

The
barrel of the new Voodoo is thickness tuned to precise physical
properties, ones that match bat and ball collision with different thickness ratios to
increase the sweet spot. The kick-point in the handle has been moved
upwards
